Aux Puces Vanves – cold and wet
January 27th, 2013

We ventured out early this morning to Aux Puces Vanves – another Paris flea market said to be mostly frequented by locals.  This one was very big for a street market and in the cold and rain this morning it was not frequented by very many!  Found a very nice fellow with buttons (bakelite) and gorgeous 1970’s vintage buttons made into brooches.  We persisted and wandered around most of the stalls – also happened upon a grumpy old stallholder with the gorgeous horn handled knives – he was even grumpier after giving me a good price – didn’t even get a plastic bag!!

Back in the apartment now drying out and warming up and deciding where to lunch!
