Saturday in Paris and Two Marche Visits
January 27th, 2013

Up early this morning and after breakfast out we headed off first to a Brocante market at Maison Radio in Arr 16.  Lots of lovely linen purchased and also some gorgeous little bits: glass doggie knife rests (so cute and the market stallholder kept laughing and going “bow-wow”!) and vintage French postcards with beautiful handwriting – mostly from the Somme area just after WWI.  Also 6 magic chandelier lamp shades (50/60’s).

Then after dropping the morning’s purchases back at the apartment and warming our cheeks we headed off to Marche aux Puces at St Ouen.  Again some delightful linen, some very special small turned timber spindles and some vintage sheet music for our planned eCasa special Xmas crackers for 2013 Xmas!

Home by late afternoon, foot weary, cold but satisfied once again!
