Wandering on the Right Bank, Paris
January 29th, 2013

First job this morning was at La Poste to send some parcels back to Oz.

Then off wandering around the right bank mostly.  Some gorgeous window displays – in particular the retailers of glasses, jewellery and fashion caught our eye today.  We called in at Astier de Villatte in Rue St Honore and also at a little Salon in St Germain with largely AdV stock and some antique pieces – all lovely stock but incredibly expensive!  Also called into the Fragonard store in Rue St Honore and purchased some perfume (Lily of the Valley), a candle and a gorgeous light jumper.  As we found at Fragonard in Grasse in 2011, this store had some lovely embroidered tablecloths with the Fragonard label (made in India) – just gorgeous!  Also stoppe at DeGrenne and Laguoile stores in Arrondisement 1. Laguoile in very bright colours as we saw at Maison Objet.

Some lovely ideas and really enjoyable day wandering under blue skies in Paris!
