The eCasa Story

eCasa brings classical European homeware and accessory design into the Australian domestic landscape. We have offered a unique, curated collection of home wares and accessories from our shop in Daylesford since 1997.

The central Victorian gold fields town of Daylesford has come a long way since the heady days of the gold rushes in the 1850’s. These days it is more about finding balance and harmony at mineral spas and wellness retreats. It is just over an hour from Melbourne with a cool mountain climate. The town is home to many galleries, coffee shops, wineries, restaurants & clothes shops. Immerse yourself in the history of the region and explore the magical surrounding countryside.

It is hard to miss the beautiful eCasa store situated on the roundabout opposite Hotel Frangos in the main street of town. The building was once home to an old haberdashery shop dating back to the 1890’s. The owners have returned the building to its former glory and created eCasa, something like an “Aladdin’s Cave” of exotic homeware and accessories.

Antique Homewares

eCasa is about beautiful linen, ceramics, glassware, vintage & artisan crafted cutlery and much more for the home; seamlessly mixed with soft cashmere wraps, handmade linen, wool scarves, hats, unique jewellery pieces new and vintage.

Some of the favourite pieces are the quirky birdhouses and deerheads from MIHO (designed in Italy & made in Germany) and the divine scarves and necklaces from Sophie Digard (designed in Paris & handmade by hundreds of women in Madagascar)

We have also created a French-styled light filled apartment upstairs above the store. Látelier is a 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms apartment right in the heart of bustling Daylesford.

On your next trip to Daylesford, come and say hello and perhaps stay awhile.
